Nadereh Pourat, the director of research at the UCLA Center for Health Policy Research and a professor in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, has also been appointed director of the Center's Health Economics and Evaluation Research Program.

Courtney Lyder, on leave from duties as dean of the UCLA School of Nursing since July, will return fulltime to the faculty and step down as dean effective July 1, 2015, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Scott Waugh announced recently.
