Roger Farmer, Distinguished Professor of Economics at UCLA and visiting Senior Houblon Norman Fellow at the Bank of England, will be one of three witnesses to provide evidence on quantitative easing to the UK's Treasury Select Committee, comprised of bipartisan elected political officials, on Tuesday, April 23, at 10 a.m. The session will be streamed live on the Parliament TV webcast.
The Treasury Committee is appointed by the UK's House of Commons to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of the HM Treasury, HM Revenue & Customs and associated public bodies, including the Bank of England and the Financial Services Authority.
