UCLA Engineering faculty members Aydogan Ozcan, associate professor of electrical engineering and bioengineering, and Qibing Pei, professor of materials science and engineering, were among 69 scientists and engineers worldwide elected this year as fellows of SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics. SPIE Fellows are recognized for significant scientific and technical contributions in the multidisciplinary fields of optics, photonics, and imaging.
