Todd Presner, professor of Germanic languages and literature, digital humanities and comparative literature; Peter Lunenfeld, professor of design and media arts; and Johanna Drucker, professor of information studies, have co-authored the book "Digital_Humanities," with two of their colleagues.
The book serves as a game-changing report on the state of contemporary knowledge production. Each UCLA author has a different background that they bring to the table, adding unique insight and diversity to the book.
The authors argue that the digital humanities offers a revitalization of the liberal arts tradition in the electronically inflected, design-driven, multimedia language of the 21st century.
