Robert P. Liberman, distinguished professor of the UCLA Department of Psychology and Biobehavioral Sciences, was awarded a lifetime achievement award by the Spanish Colegio de Psicologos on March 22 in Vallalodid, Spain.
The award was given for his pioneering research, teaching and clinical contributions to the rehabilitation and recovery of people with schizophrenia. He was also invited to deliver a lecture to the faculty and students of the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, the second oldest university in Europe.
