Dr. Warwick J. Peacock, professor of surgery at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, is the recipient of the newly created Distinguished Service in Education Award from the medical school.
Peacock has begun to thoroughly revolutionize surgical anatomy instruction in the world-class Surgical Science Laboratory at UCLA. He trains students in the departments of Surgery, Head and Neck Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology and Orthopedic Surgery.
Peacock is an internationally renowned neurosurgeon, and this award recognizes both innovation and great leadership, and he shows outstanding skill as well as a passion for medicine.
