Technological developments by Dino Di Carlo and Aydogan Ozcan have been recognized by the Journal of Laboratory Automation as two of the top 10 breakthroughs of 2012. Di Carlo, associate professor of bioengineering, was recognized for his deformability cytometer; and Ozcan for a new platform to track in 3-D the movements of human sperm. Learn more here.
