Dr. Lance Fogan, professor of neurology at the Devid Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, has published a novel, titled "Dings."
"Dings" is a medical mystery novel told from the point of view of a mother who must identify the condition responsible for her young son’s strange behavior and failing grades. Though his teachers and others believe his "black outs" and learning difficulties come from anxiety about a father deployed in Iraq, it is revealed that his medical problems stem from epilepsy.
The book has been reviewed on Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and by the British journal Advances in Clinical Neuroscience and Rehabilitation.
