Leather document carrier - Clark donation

Reed Hutchinson/UCLA

After descendants of William Andrews Clark purchased at auction a leather document carrier that had belonged to him when he served as U.S. senator from Montana, they were thrilled to find inside stationery from his 1901-1907 senate term. The carrier, its contents and a letter opener were presented July 23 to UCLA’s William Andrews Clark Memorial Library by members of the Clark family.
