Spend Saturday evening with the makers of "An American Werewolf in London" (1981) to get in the mindset for Halloween. The UCLA Film and Television Archive will screen the ghoulish film as well as "Michael Jackson's Thriller" (1983), beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum. Then stay for a post-film conversation with key members of the creative team for both of these landmark films: John Landis, Rick Baker, George Folsey Jr. and Deborah Nadoolman Landis, professor and founding director of the David C. Copley Center for the Study of Costume Design at the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television. Preceding the screening, she will be signing copies of her new book, "Hollywood Costume," beginning at 6:30 p.m.
