UCLA's Film and Television Archive and the Hugh M. Hefner Classic American Film Program present a very special evening with the legendary Kirk Douglas as part of their celebration of Burt Lancaster's enduring legacy on the centennial of his birth with a retrospective featuring classic and rare titles from his career. On Friday, June 7, the archive will screen two of Douglas' collaborations with Lancaster. Lancaster and Douglas (above) star as Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday in "Gunfight at the O.K. Corral" (1957), and then square off as former rum-running partners at odds in "I Walk Alone" (1948). The screening takes place at 7:30 p.m. at the Bill Wilder Theater.
