Docents recently led a group of UCLA Staff Assembly members on a tour of the Mildred E. Mathias Botanical Garden. For the first time in several years, the garden is seeking volunteer docents. No background in botany is required. Training consists of five weekly 90-minute sessions with professor Phil Rundel, the garden’s director, beginning April 15.
