
Preparations are in place at UCLA’s Royce Hall for Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to deliver his final State of the City address. Villaraigosa, a UCLA graduate, is leaving office June 30 after eight years.
The mayor's speech, scheduled to start at 5 p.m., will highlight his efforts in public safety, education, business, transportation and the environment. The address will be televised live in Los Angeles on Channel 35 and webcast at http://lacityview.org/.
