Pulitzer Prize–winning playwright Beth Henley will be joined by actors Ed Harris, Diane Keaton, Amy Madigan and Belita Moreno on March 12 at 7:30 p.m. to read excerpts from her plays at the Hammer Museum's next program in the "Some Favorite Writers" series of readings. Henley is the author of "Crimes of the Heart," "The Miss Firecracker Contest," "Control Freaks" and most recently, "The Jacksonian." This series of readings is organized by English professor and author Mona Simpson. The readings will be followed by discussion with Simpson. The program is free. Arrival at least one half hour prior to program time is recommended.
