That’s the case with Courtney Lyder, the charismatic dean of UCLA’s School of Nursing, who has become a regular at Westwood eateries — so much so that several of them have named cocktails or dishes after him. He’s such a frequent patron at these establishments that the Hotel Palomar’s Blvd 16 Restaurant and Lounge has named a cocktail after Lyder’s French bulldog, Layla.
