Real Madrid to train at UCLA

One of soccer's most storied teams, Spain's Real Madrid, will train on UCLA's top-notch field this summer, from July 29 through Aug. 5. Practices are private and closed to the public.

UC Regents appoint Janet Napolitano as the university's first woman president

The Bruins closed that gap in their legacy of sports excellence by sweeping the College World Series, defeating Mississippi State 8-0. Facilities workers ramp up as students leave campus

Electricians, plumbers, carpenters and other workers are racing against the clock to wipe away a year’s worth of wear-and-tear and restore the gleam to approximately 5,000 sleeping rooms, eight dining halls and kitchens, numerous study lounges, auditoriums, community and private restrooms.
